What is Bookwatch?

Bookwatch is a periodic service of announcements of new publications of interest to information designers, which is distributed to to subscribers to the InfoDesign listserver (find out about subscribing here). Bookwatch announcements are compiled by Karel van der Waarde and Piet Westendorp.

Please note that Bookwatch announcements are not book reviews; they give a brief synopsis of the book and a listing of its contents, plus publishing indicia and pricing, and sometimes links to other information or reviews. If a link is "live", that means that we have checked it. (Links given in text form only were correct when the original Bookwatch announcement was made, but may have changed.)
